“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
Long Walk to Freedom: The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela
At the end of the year, a bizarre year in many worldwide respects, I came across a statement by Nelson Mandela that I also used before on FB. Typically a hero that we can use in our time to be able to look at things in a different way. BTW language has never been my thing, so please forgive the grammatical errors. Also such a beautiful virtue that we can use more of in 2024, forgiveness.
How powerful is this statement and how can you learn to love something instead of hating it? Actually very simple, just by doing it and sometimes that is of vital importance for yourself, hatred will destroy you. I learned it myself and used it again by formulating love goals and putting them into practice. How do you deal with that bully colleague, that insane road user, that housemate who NEVER puts things away? Is this ringing a bell yet? How do you become more forgiving and live your life more relaxed?
Learning to feel and experience love in its purest form can make a big difference in your daily affairs. Maybe you will learn to put things into perspective and laugh about it, another wonderful virtue. Perhaps there are also struggles and annoyances within yourself that you hate and would like to learn to accept and embrace with a little more love? Of course, in small steps, because many small steps make a giant leap forward possible. That is why I also like to work walking, step by step towards your goals in 2024. Go For It and Love It.
At the end of the year, I would like to bring you one step closer to this goal and help you formulate your love goals for 2024, then you can put them into practice ;-)
And to end with a quote from Mandela:
"It is wise to inspire people to do things and then let them think it was their own idea."
Of course, that's how I like to work. My price is yours based on happyness and financial capacity. (Inspired by an old hairdresser in Amsterdam where you could pay what you would like)
Disclaimer: Be careful, if it works you will never be the same again.
